BACKGROUND
Shannon Fitzgerald is the founder and principal advisor at Minerva June Advisory. She has spent over 20 years advising Fortune 50 executives, UN ambassadors and government leaders on the strategies that shape how companies, organizations and governments communicate around the defining issues of our time -- from energy transition and innovation to the role of business in driving positive economic and social change.Shannon played a central role in creating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) during her career with the United Nations; led the agency team advising one of the largest technology companies in the world on its global sustainability and carbon-free energy communications practice; and built the communications and external affairs function from the ground up at an early-stage community energy infrastructure company.She believes deeply in the power of honest, purposeful communication for driving meaningful and positive change in our world.
